This site is located on the banks of a river 500 metres outside the town of Surndal and roughly midway between Trondheim and Andalsnes. This is a large level open grassy site, popular with fishermen. It is split into two halves one half being close to reception where the disabled facilities are located and the other half some 100 metres further along the river bank. The sites main road is tarmac and although there are a large number of statics on the site, there are 40 touring pitches. A cycleway runs uphill between the site and the very handy town where there are all facilities. Reception and a small shop are wheelchair accessible via a ramp as are the disabled toilet facilities. We found this a pleasant spot to rest a while and catch up with the chores.

Toilet facilities for disabled : Wheel in hand shower with a poorly located handrail, no seating, washbasin and high mirror.
