Located on the south side of this hill top town within walking distance of the centre, the site is medium sized, part shaded, and sloping. The main site road is tarmac and there are a limited number of pitches for larger outfits. The site and surrounding area is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the sloping terrain and cobbled town centre.
