Date of visit : July 2004
This small well maintained picturesque site is located on the banks of a lake about midway along the
the narrow road between the town of Olden and the Briksdalenbreen Glacier. All weather tracks lead to the grassy unmarked pitches
on the terraces of this site most of which offer excellent views of the valley and surrounding mountains. A single step leads into the main building
housing the reception, a small shop, TV room and cafe. Free rowing boats are available for those wishing to fish or simply wanting take a trip
out onto the lake. The uninspiring small town of Olden, where there is a supermarket and a few shops is 10kms away.
