In January 2025 we took a 35 night return cruise from Southampton out to the Caribbean on this ship whose maiden voyage was in 2004. It was not our first choice ship but it was the only one going to the Caribbean which had wheelchair accessible cabins available. While this is a large ship, it can carry up to 2600 passengers, we didn't find it over crowded and we liked it but not the ocean view cabin number 4016 which we had. It was too small to comfortably use in a wheelchair and although there was a wheel in shower with a pull down seat and plenty of handrails, the toilet was very low and transfers were extremely difficult. Even a 3 inch riser did not make it any easier and assistance was required. Storage space was inadequate, especially hanging space in the wardrobe. All decks with the exception of the lookout on deck 13 and the bow section on deck 7 were accessable. Unfortunately doors to the outside decks were heavy and assistance was required to pass through them. The indoor pool on deck 12 had a hoist available. The ship is due for a refit in 2027 and it is understood many of these heavy door will be replaced with sliding ones.
